Sarah Goldberg, Spanish teacher, is avidly in love with the Spanish language, traveling, nature and enjoying all that life shared with loved ones has to offer. She has studied Spanish for over 8 years through immersion-based travel experiences and a formal university education. She is very passionate about community organizing with the immigrant community and believes becoming fluent in Spanish can create a more inclusive community here in Boulder.
Zane Selvans is a research director for Clean Energy Action, where he focuses on energy financing. He also lives at The Masala Co-op and is the representative for his house on the board of the Boulder Housing Coalition. He is also involved with the Community Cycles Advocacy Committee, the Transportation Advisory Board for the City of Boulder and other activism at the local level. Zane received a PhD in planetary geophysics in 2009, with a focus on the tidally induced tectonics of icy moons in the outer solar system.
Cha Cha Spinrad is a preschool teacher who lives at the Rad-ish Collective. Her daily life consists of biking, walking and being averse to cars. She is involved with Boulder Free School, Boulder Community Housing Association, which is currently working to make housing in Boulder more inclusive, Boulder Food Rescue and The Second Kitchen. She shares what she has learned as an engineering student, festival attendee, and activist.
Emma grew up in the backwoods of Michigan on farmland, forest and grassy marshes. She was raised by a family of healers – now living in Colorado, she’s recently begun her own journey to become a healer through Just For Health School of Reflexology and Healing Arts, gaining accreditation as a Master Herbalist through their intensive Botanical Medicine program. She teaches a monthly Pick an Herb class.
